Green Cleaning is a healthy process you can apply to clean your home without effecting the environment in any adverse way. This type of cleaning is a major shift from conventional cleaning methods. In conventional cleaning, the agents we use are in most cases, chemically reactive and toxic. Almost all of these products exude Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC), which are fairly damaging for your lungs and skin, besides other having undesirable effects.

The use of the term “green” or “green friendly” on an industrial or residential cleaning product depends on certain factors, like the procedures followed in its manufacture, packaging and distribution. The term “green” becomes applicable only when the manufacturing process adopted by the company is eco-friendly and the products are bio-degradable.

According to a report published by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), your indoor air can be 100 times more polluted than your outdoors. This happens mainly due to the Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) that trickle out of all conventional cleaning products.
